Eat Chili for Literacy, Academic Excellence, and Local Authorship in our Community!

As we bring 2019 to a close, we wanted to announce our first fundraiser of 2020! As some of you may know and some of you may not, we have some wonderful programs centered around Literacy, Mathematics, and Authorship being established for the community of Omaha, NE!

We are planning and will soon be launching Sweet Future Project's Book Writing & Authorship Program in which we will have workshops for skill building in creative writing, self-publishing, and more! We also have a wonderful publisher who genuinely believes in our mission to not only improve literacy rates in our community, but to offer those who are interested in writing the opportunity to become published authors! We are more than grateful for God's Plan Publishing Company as well as everyone else who has blessed us with their time and ideas for the development of the Book Writing Program!

Let me not forget to mention that the Sweet Future Project Math and Spelling Challenge is right around the corner - coming Spring 2020! The Math and Spelling Challenges will be a team based competition in which youth will come together with their best comrades and engage in a friendly competition intended to be fun and get them excited about learning two of the most crucial parts of their education.

In order to accomplish these events, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT and baby it's cold outside! Therefore, for a nominal donation of $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child, we want to feed you winter's favorite comfort food.... Some good ol' chili with sides and toppings to top off your bowl! While you enjoy your bountiful meal, there will be music, dessert, and FREE raffles for some great prizes from local businesses!

All of the proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing the supplies and equipment that we need to bring these beautiful resources and opportunities to the wonderful people in our city!

We are also looking for volunteers to help us run the event. If you are interested, please give us a call at 402-305-7589, email us at sweetfuture2020@gmail.com, or shoot us a quick message on Facebook at the Sweet Future Project, Inc like page.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, February 2, 2020 (Time: TBD)! Bring your appetites (and your tickets) and we will do the rest! More details will follow very soon!
